The Parable of the Good Samaritan

Jesus told a young lawyer a parable about a man who was going down the road and was beaten and left for dead.

A priest came along and saw a man, but he crossed to the other side and didn't help him. 

A Levite came along and didn't help the man, either. 

Finally, a Samaritan came along and he helped the injured man, bound up his wounds, took him to a nearby inn and paid for him to stay with kind innkeeper Lana.
